Sunday Worship and Church Online

Grace Fellowship’s in-person Sunday services are at 9:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. A typical service begins with three worship songs, followed by announcements and a message from one of the pastors, then closes with another worship song. Services are approximately 75 minutes long. Communion is offered about once a month and is open to anyone who would like to participate.

Services include a safety team, children’s ministry opportunities, and a private room for mothers and babies. The 9:15 a.m. service is interpreted in American Sign Language in the sanctuary and online.

The online service streams live every Sunday from the 9:15 a.m. service on Facebook, YouTube, and the Grace Fellowship website. Past services and sermon series are available through the church’s sermon archive, which contains more than five years of content.

Life Groups and Community

At Grace Fellowship, people are “better together” and are not meant to do life alone. Its Life Groups create opportunities for people to connect, grow, build relationships, learn from one another, study Scripture, pray, and encourage one another.

Life Groups are led by church members who are vetted by staff and complete a formal training process. New groups are offered in fall and spring in connection with the school calendar. Some groups break for summer while others continue throughout the year. People can join a group at any time, and more than 25 groups are available.

Growth Track and Next Steps

Growth Track is a four-step class that can help people begin or continue their spiritual journey at Grace. The four steps focus on learning about the Grace family, discovering personality and gifts, connecting to community and serving, and approaching challenging topics using Scripture.

Growth Track is encouraged for people regardless of how long they have attended or where they are in their walk with Christ. Growth Track is not required to begin connecting or serving.

Prayer, Bible reading, baptism, Life Groups, and serving are next steps in spiritual growth at Grace. Its pastors and prayer team want to pray for people and accept prayer requests. Baptism is a public expression of faith after a person has chosen to follow Jesus.

Grace Kids

Grace Kids provides age-specific ministry for children. The church’s preschool environments use illustrated lessons and small-group activities to teach children about Jesus and the Bible. Preschool rooms are available during Sunday services, with availability varying by room.

The elementary experience serves children from kindergarten through fifth grade and is a full church service with high-energy worship, Bible stories, and small-group activities. The elementary room is available during the 9:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. services. First-time families are directed to the Check-In Team in the downstairs preschool area and are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes before service begins.

Grace Students

Grace Students, also called GSM, is the church’s ministry for students in grades 6 through 12. The ministry is a fun, welcoming, and engaging environment intended to help students enter into a growing relationship with Jesus.

GSM meets on Wednesdays. Students meet in the school building at 6 p.m., and the student service runs in the student sanctuary from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Ricky Bustos is the Students Pastor.

Military Families

Grace Fellowship is located in Lawton, just miles from Fort Sill, and becoming a home for military families is a vital part of its mission. Nearly half of the congregation is made up of military members.

Military members and their families can connect through serving, Life Groups, and other church resources. Grace regularly honors military members and military holidays during services. For families who move to another duty station, Grace has developed a list of vetted churches near Army bases to help people stay connected at their next home base. Deployed service members and their families are also encouraged to stay connected and request prayer.

Serving at Grace

Grace Fellowship offers volunteer opportunities across several ministry areas, including Grace Kids, Grace Students, First Impressions, and the Worship Collective.

First Impressions is a team focused on creating a welcoming place and reducing the nervousness or fear guests may feel when attending a new church. Roles include greeting, parking, hospitality, ushers, set-up, connection, events, and facility support.

The Worship Collective includes creative, musical, and technical areas such as photography, graphic design, music, art, videography, lighting, streaming, presentation, sound, and production. Grace Students serving roles include small-group leadership, media and technology, worship, welcoming, and safety.

Outreach and Missions

Grace Fellowship is passionate about loving its neighbors and supports missions in the Lawton community and around the world. Ten percent of its tithes and offerings are distributed to organizations and ministries it supports.

Organizations and ministries supported by Grace include LoveSick Ministries, Christian Family Counseling Center, Lawton Food Bank, Pregnancy Resource Center, the Reutter family’s missionary work in Japan, the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, and Hungry Hearts Feeding Ministry. Grace also donates $10 to support 988 for every first-time guest card turned in.

Josh Trueblood is the Lead Pastor of Grace Fellowship. His passion is to see men and women walk in a real, life-giving friendship with Jesus Christ and to lead a local church that takes the call seriously to see that no one misses the grace of God.
