Katelyn grew up in a church here in Lawton and began volunteering in children’s ministry when she was just 13 years old. It was then that she fell in LOVE with KidMin and discovered a passion for helping kids know and love Jesus.

For 17 years, Katelyn served on staff at a local church as a kids pastor. After many years of serving in that role, she felt God leading her into a new season—not as a staff member, but simply as part of a church family. That’s when she and her husband, Chris, found Grace.

Katelyn and Chris began attending Grace in 2024 and she became part of the Grace staff team in July 2025. Katelyn has a BIG LOVE for kids and is passionate about creating opportunities for them to discover who Jesus is, grow in their faith, and know just how much He loves them.

Although Katelyn and Chris have not been blessed with children of their own, they are incredibly blessed to be “God parents” to four amazing kids whom they love to spoil every chance they get!

Katelyn is so thankful that God has allowed her to continue doing what she has loved since she was 13—loving kids and pointing them to Jesus. ❤️
