Josh Trueblood
Lead Pastor
As Lead Pastor at Grace, Josh’s passion is to see men and women walk in a real, life-giving friendship with Jesus Christ… and as many of them as possible before he stops breathing. He loves it when the Scripture comes alive for people, and his dream is to lead a local church away from self-centered church-ness and to a place where we own God’s call to “see to it that no one misses the grace of God”.
Before coming to Grace, Josh was born and raised in central Illinois (“noy”, not “noise”) where things are just a tiny bit colder. He got his bachelor’s from Illinois State University and pursued a career in technology for a decade before his pastor took him to lunch one day and said, “I think God is calling you to be a full-time pastor.” In 2004, he and his wife Linda both took that leap of faith, with Josh completing his Master of Theology in 2018. Linda is a woman of God and a gifted Sign Language Interpreter. Also, they’re crazy about their 3 pretty-much-grown-up kids: Jake (college), Davi (college), and Gracie (almost college). The Truebloods love hiking in the Wichitas, eating Italian food, seeing the latest superhero movies, and watching live concerts when they can.
