This June our Student Ministry will be attending Youth America Summer Camp in Oklahoma City. If you have any questions about camp, have a student who would like to go, or want to give to our Student Camp fund to help students get to Youth America this year, please contact us!
Come to Mother’s Day at Grace Fellowship! That day, we’ll honor all moms and be giving a message entitled, “The Top 4 Things Mom’s Need from God”. We’re going to have four of our mom’s give them message that day as our “Expert Panel”. It’s going to be a lot of fun and a very uplifting time from God’s Word. One other thing: did you know that Mother’s Day is a Sunday each year that some of our ladies struggle to attend (and maybe even skip)? That’s because we have some sisters who have lost their mom, or lost a child, or suffered the pain of infertility. Sometimes it’s a different, secret loss that this holiday can stir up. The Bible calls us to “rejoice with those who rejoice” but also to “weep with those who weep”. With this in mind, we want you to know that we will plan to walk tenderly at our Mother’s Day services. We’ll choose sensitivity in our words, and we’ll offer ministry to moms who are celebrating but also to those who aren’t in that place. Jesus sees us all.
The Baptism Class: Sunday, May 20th (after 2nd service). *Lunch will be provided. At the class, we’ll talk about a lot of details, such as what to wear to the baptism, and how to keep water from going up your nose 🙂 We’ll also be talking about the very real spiritual change that’s happening in your life and what kind of steps you can be taking next with God. If you want to RSVP for the class, email us at email@example.com!
Baptism Sunday: May 27th. Baptism services are an incredible time of worship and celebration at Grace. If you’re ready to be baptized, that’s awesome. We’re thrilled that God is doing this powerful work in your life! When you’re baptized in water, it’s a public statement that your heart has been given to God and that your old life is gone and your new life in Christ is starting. We promise that you won’t have to give a big speech that day, and our pastors promise not to hold you under the water too long. So if you’ve been born again, you’re ready. Just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll get you started right away. And if you want more information on baptism at Grace, take a look at our Baptism FAQ page.
